Intelligence has never been singular.
Within us resides an extraordinary ecology of human and Divine intelligences, each sovereign in its own distinction and intimately interconnected with the greater ecology of ourselves, one another, and life itself.
The Ecology of Intelligence™ has emerged through more than two decades of lived experience, observation, stewardship, and an enduring devotion to understanding and innerstanding all that exists within us, between us, and beyond us. More than fifty intelligences have revealed themselves within this evolving body of thought, each preserving us from a different form of limitation while revealing another dimension of our relationship with ourselves, one another, our experiences, and the world around us.
The significance of the Ecology resides within both distinction and interconnection. Each intelligence remains sovereign unto itself while existing in continual relationship with the others, revealing the multidimensional ways we perceive, discern, feel, know, relate, create, remember, experience, and encounter life. Within these relationships, we begin to recognize an ecology that extends from our innermost experience into our relationships with one another, our environments, the seen and unseen, and the Divine.
The Ecology is a remembrance of all that has always resided within us and all that has always interconnected us.
The Living
Ecology.
The Ecology of Intelligence™ exists within the recognition that nothing within our human and Divine experience exists independently. Every intelligence is sovereign in its nature, yet its presence belongs within an infinite ecology of relationship extending through the internal and external, the individual and collective, the embodied and energetic, the visible and unseen.
Within this ecology, relationship becomes revelatory. The distinction of each intelligence remains intact while its relationship with another can reveal dimensions neither could make intelligible alone. Our innerstanding expands through this interconnection, allowing us to perceive the greater relationships already present within ourselves, between one another, and throughout the life of which we are inseparably part.
The living ecology is not contained within us. We exist within the Ecology as surely as the Ecology exists within us. Intelligence is continually meeting intelligence across dimensions of human experience, relationship, nature, consciousness, energy, and the Divine, revealing an interconnectedness far more expansive than the boundaries through which we have historically understood ourselves.
The Ecology is living because relationship is living.
Divine & Human Intelligences.
Our humanity has never existed separately from the Divine. Within The Ecology of Intelligence™, they are neither opposing realms nor separate expressions of who we are. Their relationship belongs to the sacred multidimensionality of our existence and to ways of knowing that have accompanied humanity far beyond the boundaries of all that can be materially observed or intellectually explained.
There is extraordinary intelligence within our embodied human experience, just as there are intelligences through which we encounter dimensions of existence that transcend the material. Neither asks us to abandon one for the other. Our humanity does not become less sacred in the presence of the Divine, nor does the Divine become less real through our inability to contain all that is experienced within the certainty of reason.
The relationship between the human and Divine invites a different intimacy with knowing. Reason retains its place without becoming the authority through which every other intelligence must prove itself. The unseen remains sovereign without requiring belief to make its presence meaningful. Discernment allows us to remain in relationship with both, without diminishing the mystery of one to preserve the legitimacy of the other.
The sacredness of our intelligence resides within this inseparability. We are fully human and inherently Divine, living within an ecology that honours the sovereignty of both and the infinite relationship through which they are known.
Evolving Body
of Thought.
The Ecology of Intelligence™ continues to evolve as the depth of our human and Divine nature reveals dimensions that have always existed, awaiting recognition within a greater field of awareness.
More than fifty intelligences have emerged within this body of thought, not as a measure of its breadth or a boundary around all that exists, rather as expressions of an ecology whose vastness continues to reveal itself. With each intelligence comes another recognition of the intricate relationships through which we experience ourselves, one another, and life.
The Ecology remains living because our capacity to perceive is never complete. Greater awareness allows that which has always been present to become newly intelligible, opening us to dimensions of existence that could not have been encountered from the awareness through which we once perceived them.
The evolution of the Ecology is inseparable from the limitless nature of all that remains to be remembered.
Sacred Remembrance.
Remembrance resides at the heart of The Ecology of Intelligence™.
There is a sacredness in recognizing that the intelligences revealed through the Ecology are not being created within us. Their existence does not begin with our awareness of them, nor does their sovereignty depend upon our capacity to understand them. They have always resided within us, intimately woven into the multidimensional nature of our human and Divine existence.
Remembrance changes the nature of our relationship with ourselves. We are no longer reaching outward for another authority to tell us who we are, nor measuring ourselves against an understanding of intelligence that could never encompass the vastness of our being. We begin instead from the recognition that there is wisdom already present, sovereignty already inherent, and an extraordinary ecology already alive within and interconnected through us.
The more intimately we remember, the more intimately we can meet ourselves. Not as someone requiring completion, rather as a sovereign being whose capacity to know, discern, create, relate, innerstand, and encounter life has always been far more expansive than any singular expression could reveal.
Remembrance is not a return to who we once were.
Remembrance is the recognition of all that we have always been.
The Ecology,
Lived.
The Ecology of Intelligence™ is an expression of our inherent freedom. The sovereignty to belong fully to ourselves. The agency to live from our own knowing. The autonomy to author our lives. The liberation found within greater harmony with who we are.
Integration holds a sacred place within this expression. As greater dimensions of ourselves become intelligible, they become integrated within the fullness of our being. Awareness becomes embodied, allowing understanding and innerstanding to live through us with greater congruence. Our humanity is experienced with greater spaciousness as the many dimensions of who we are are honoured within the ecology to which they belong.
There is a profound peace within this integration. Sovereignty and interconnection exist together. Our autonomy remains inherently ours while our relationship with one another and with life continues to matter deeply. Free agency becomes an expression of this awareness, allowing us to inhabit our lives with greater intention while remaining fully present to our humanity.
Living the Ecology is a deeply personal expression of freedom. A remembrance of our inherent authority, the sacredness of our humanness, and our capacity to live in greater harmony with ourselves.
To belong fully to ourselves is one of the most intimate expressions of sovereignty.
